Lumch with Mom @ Nathalie's Gourmet Studio

Abbey's Godma, Aunty Irene recommended Nathalie's Gourmet Studio and I brought mom out for lunch. Nathalie's is located in Solaris Dutamas.

Nathalie's offers a wide array of macaroons. Those who loves macaroons, give it a try. It'll make a nice gift as well

Dainty ain't it? freshly baked buns..

Momotaro Tomato Mozarella! This is the highlight of the entire meal *two thumbs up*

Ricotta & Herb Raviolis, carrot and ginger broth. Honestly, I find the Ravioli filling too overwhelming and am not a fan of 'froth'.

Dad's Birthday @ Fukuharu Japanese Restaurant, Jalan Ampang

Happy Birthday Pap!

Fukuharu is located off Jalan Ampang. To be exact, it is just behind Victoria Station. It's an authentic japanese restaurant with nice ambience. If you want to have a quiet dinner along with a nice ambience, then Fukuharu is a good choice.

Dinner with the family @ Hajime

Indulge your palate at Hajime!

Family dinner at Hajime on Saturday night. Hajime Japanese Restaurant is one place I highly recommend. The menu at Hajime is comprehensive yet does not overwhelm, offering quintessential jap favorites as well as a few modern improvisations which become crowd pleasures.

Wagyu Beef
The meat is tender and flavorful..It just simply melts in your mouth. Along comes the salad to refresh your palate.

The highlight for me is the foie gras wrapped with Salmon and drizzled with truffle oil as dressing. Every bite is a celebration of the firm velvety texture evident only in fresh good quality salmon and foie gras. Awesome! You should try it.

Another equally delectable item is the inaniwa udon.

Howdie HO!!

It's been such a crazy month...The transition period to my new venture is indeed taxing but it paid off. So no complains, aights? Put that aside, everything is good..Relationship with the bf is going strong, mom, dad & sis are doing well and i must say this year has been good to me. Thank god!

A few updates over the past month:-

Singapore For Work & Leisure

First night, stayed at Hotel Re..It's a boutique hotel located in China Town, it takes about 10 minutes walk to the MRT, they have very friendly staff, free wifi and i didn't expect the room to look so cosy. Guess how much does it cost? SGD180..It's very reasonable.

Cosy ain't it?

It was the Singapore Grand Sale… Bought a few dresses and shoes. Given two choices, bag or shoes? Which one will you choose? I'll definitely go for shoes..When I slip into the Laboutins, oh..I'm so gonna buy one! but but…in time to come. hang in there…I'll be coming for you soon. Real soon!

What will suffice after a whole day of shopping? a really cold beer ..This place though modest in size, has both indoor and outdoor seating. It has a casual vibe and you're bound to feel at home there. Ice Cold Beer Bar's regulars are mainly malaysians, according to Jerrica. Mind the terrible pictures. I didn't bring my camera along with me...snapped using my BB.

Their signature snack is the fried chicken wings

Went back to the hotel...took a long shower and enjoyed the rest of the night watching sex and the city whilst chatting with him.

Chitty chatty with boo..

Second day at Resort World Hotel.
Checked out from Hotel Re and head to Resort World Hotel to meet up with the rest of the team. Guess what? We've only got to our rooms at 3pm!! Honestly, the management have to do something about it. Indeed very poor management.

Just a glimpse of the hotel room. It's a family room and I'm taking the bunk bed!

Followed by performances. I am impressed with the setup, the lined up performances and astounding speeches by the company.

Cath, Cindy, Desmond, Danny and I went to Bobby's for baby rack. If you're in a group, sharing the baby rack may be a good idea because it's huge. It's simply seasoned and grilled, the meat is tender and succulent. The charred fatty bits around the edges simply melt in your mouth. It has the Oomph! Sorry no pics taken..was too hungry! haha..

Third day…Meetings meetings and more meetings.
After a long day, we decided to go the Sky Park at Sands. It has a beautiful view of Singapore. I mean you can't compare to Hong Kong.. but see it for yourself.

Konked out when i got back to the hotel.

Fourth day, had a debrief meeting of the entire convention and then we checked out. Went to P.S. Cafe for lunch with Abbey and she took us around Orchard. Vanessa, Desmond and the rest left in the evening back to KL but I extended my stay for another 3 days. Stayed with Abbey and all we did for the remaining days was eat, shop and sleep. hahaha..as if we're living the life. I wish! Anyway, thanks babe for your hospitality! Can't thank you more for taking me around for good food and shopping. Thanks again.
